The invention discloses a channel epidemic prevention verification disinfection gate and method, the disinfection gate comprises a channel box and a quick pass gate, the inner wall of the top of the channel box is provided with a height measuring instrument, the channel box is internally provided with a disinfection mechanism, and the disinfection mechanism is used for comprehensively disinfecting to-be-disinfected personnel entering the channel box and passing through the quick pass gate. According to the disinfection device, the disinfection mechanism can disinfect the lower portions of arms, oxters, feet, the inner sides of thighs and the positions, close to the body, of the arms of a to-be-disinfected person, a connecting rope can be wound through forward rotation of a rotating rod, and a first mounting pipe can be driven to rotate while the connecting rope can be released through reverse rotation of the rotating rod; and the second mounting pipe synchronously moves downwards while rotating along with the first mounting pipe, so that the to-be-disinfected person is forced to open the two arms, the to-be-disinfected person can be further disinfected, and the applicability of the device is improved.
