The invention discloses a tower-type communication base station, and relates to the technical field of communication base stations, the tower-type communication base station comprises a tower body, an omnidirectional antenna, a sector antenna, a signal processing device, a power divider and a lightning arrester, the tower body is formed by stacking a plurality of combined frames in sequence, and every two adjacent combined frames are connected through a plurality of connecting assemblies; the connecting assembly is of a bidirectional telescopic structure and comprises a first angle steel connecting base and a second angle steel connecting base which are installed on the outer side walls of the two adjacent combined frames, connecting rods are fixedly installed on the first angle steel connecting base and the second angle steel connecting base, and a buffer cylinder is connected between the two opposite connecting rods. According to the communication iron tower, interference of noise or other useless signals in the signal transmission process is effectively solved through the signal processing device, useful signals are increased, the defect that the signals are weakened in the transmission process is overcome, meanwhile, the overall connection strength is high, a certain buffering and anti-seismic effect is achieved, and the communication iron tower is made to adapt to various severe conditions.
