The invention relates to the technical field of municipal engineering infrastructures, and provides a municipal engineering road drainage system which comprises a roadbed and an in-road drainage pipe set, drainage groove bodies and water gathering belts are arranged on the two sides of the roadbed respectively, the water gathering belts are flush with or lower than the upper end face of the roadbed, and the bottoms of the water gathering belts communicate with water gathering wells; the in-road drainage pipe set comprises a telescopic calandria and a flow guide pipe which are communicated with each other, one end of the telescopic calandria penetrates through the roadbed, and one end of the flow guide pipe is communicated with the water collecting well. Accumulated water on the surface of the roadbed can flow into the flow guide pipe along the telescopic drainage pipe and then flow into the water accumulation well along the flow guide pipe, so that the drainage efficiency of the roadbed is further improved; when the surface of the roadbed is damaged and sunken, the telescopic calandria is shortened, so that the port of the telescopic calandria is close to the surface of the sunken part of the roadbed, and when accumulated water exists in the sunken part of the surface of the roadbed, the telescopic calandria can normally drain water for the sunken part, so that the drainage capacity of the municipal engineering road is further improved.
