The invention relates to an aluminum silicate graphite particle sound insulation and heat preservation material and a preparation method thereof, and aims to provide an environment-friendly material with excellent sound insulation and heat preservation performance. The material combines the characteristics of inorganic aluminum silicate fibers and polystyrene graphite particles, and is prepared and molded by using polyvinyl alcohol as an adhesive through a specific foaming process. In the preparation process, the density, the strength and the sound insulation and heat preservation performance of the material can be adjusted by adding different parts of auxiliary materials such as vinyl acetate, wood fibers, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, white carbon black, polycarboxylic acid and carbamate, so that different application requirements are met. According to the invention, not only can sound be effectively isolated and noise pollution be reduced, but also a good heat preservation effect is achieved, and energy conservation and emission reduction are facilitated. In addition, the preparation method disclosed by the invention is simple and easy to implement, high in cost benefit, easy for large-scale production and suitable for being widely applied to heat-insulating and sound-insulating materials in the fields of buildings, automobiles, household appliances and the like.
