The invention discloses a steel chisel for construction lofting. The steel chisel comprises a steel chisel body, a barrel body and a steel chisel bottom rod, a barrel body groove is formed in the side part of the steel chisel, a barrel body with a hollow structure is movably embedded in the barrel body groove, one end of the barrel body is movably hinged in the barrel body groove, and the other end of the barrel body can rotate to the outer part of the steel chisel and forms a movable clamping opening through which a marking line penetrates, so that the marking line is fixed on the steel chisel; a mounting groove matched with the steel chisel is formed in the upper part of the steel chisel bottom rod, so that the steel chisel bottom rod movably sleeves the lower part of the steel chisel through the mounting groove, and the upper part of the steel chisel bottom rod can surround the outer side of the lower part of the barrel body groove; the lower portion of the steel chisel bottom rod is of an inverted-cone-shaped structure, so that the steel chisel can be inserted into the ground through the inverted-cone-shaped structure. The invention relates to the technical field of road construction, and can solve the problems that steel chisels are large in size and inconvenient to transport and marked lines are easy to deform after being wound and fixed in the prior art.
