Suspensions obtained by micellar polymerization
The present invention relates to the use of a sequential copolymer (P) comprising at least one chain (C) obtained by micellar polymerization in an aqueous medium (M) for keeping solid particles (p) suspended in an aqueous fluid (F). The chain (C) is soluble in an aqueous fluid (F) and is formed from a series of hydrophilic monomers interrupted at different points by a plurality of hydrophobic sequences (B) of substantially the same size. The chain (C) is obtained by introducing a surfactant into the aqueous medium (M) at a concentration above the critical micelle molar concentration. Each of the hydrophobic sequences comprises substantially the same defined number nH of hydrophobic monomers, wherein nH is between 12 and 30. The molecular weight of the sequence copolymer (P) is greater than 1000000 g/mol. The solid particles (p) are suspended in the aqueous fluid (F) at 180 DEG F for more than 24 hours.
