The invention discloses an unloading device for temporary supports of a steel structure cantilever structure and a construction method thereof.The unloading device comprises four unloading boxes which are evenly arranged on the upper surface of each temporary support between the ground and the steel structure cantilever structure; the unloading box is a box body composed of an upper box plate, a lower box plate, a front box plate, a rear box plate, a left box plate and a right box plate, or the unloading box is of a rectangular frame structure, and the upper box plate is arranged on the upper surface of the rectangular frame structure. The unloading columns are matched with the unloading box, each unloading column comprises an unloading bolt and two nuts on the unloading bolt, the unloading bolt penetrates through an upper box plate of the unloading box and is vertically connected to the unloading box through the two nuts, and the two nuts are locked to the two sides of the upper surface and the two sides of the lower surface of the upper box plate of the unloading box respectively. The lifting device can be stressed for a long time to lift and support the steel structure cantilever structure, and has the advantages of being stable, reliable, not prone to damage and high in safety.
