The invention discloses a slope excavation construction method and soil collecting equipment. The slope excavation construction method comprises the steps that a slope is divided into a plurality of construction sections with limited widths in the width direction, and the construction sections are excavated in sequence; when any construction section is excavated, soil particles excavated from the slope top of the side slope are conveyed to the slope bottom of the side slope, and the soil particles are collected at the slope bottom of the side slope in batches to form a plurality of soil collecting units; and the multiple soil collecting units are sequentially stacked in the direction from the slope bottom to the slope top along at least part of the slope surface of the excavated construction section, so that the excavated construction section is temporarily supported. According to the construction method for slope excavation, dust and carbon reduction and efficient and safe control over the slope excavation process are achieved, the construction efficiency is improved, the engineering cost is reduced, the risk of slope instability is effectively reduced, occupational health and safety of constructors are guaranteed, and meanwhile positive contribution is made for environmental protection.
