A light transmissive panel for a building such as a greenhouse. The plate includes a light transmissive member located between an inner surface and an outer surface of the plate, the light transmissive member including a plurality of light transmissive devices (e.g., light pipes) and a thermal insulator at least partially surrounding the light transmissive devices. Each light transmitting device includes a light receiving portion, a light emitting portion, and a transmission portion between the light receiving portion and the light emitting portion. The panel may be connected to the frame along its perimeter. In some embodiments, sensors and/or functional components may be disposed in connection with the board and may be configured to exchange signals with an electronic system to provide monitoring and/or control functionality.

A light transmissive panel for a building such as a greenhouse.
