The invention discloses foamed ceramic prepared from fly ash, coal gangue and magnesium slag as well as a preparation method and application of the foamed ceramic. Relates to the technical field of solid waste and dangerous waste treatment. The foamed ceramic comprises the following raw materials: fly ash; clay; coal gangue; magnesium slag; and a foaming agent. According to the invention, a formula of fly ash, clay, coal gangue and magnesium slag is adopted in a pioneering manner, and solid waste and hazardous wastes are utilized to prepare the foamed ceramic, so that a new way is provided for treatment of the solid waste and hazardous wastes. In addition, the fly ash, the clay, the coal gangue and the magnesium slag in the components have a synergistic effect, so that the porosity and the compressive strength of the foamed ceramic are improved together.
