Masonry leveling instrument
A masonry leveling instrument with an extruded metal box body for measuring the orientation of a working surface is disclosed. The front portion of the body includes an outer longitudinal lower rib projection and a middle section longitudinal tongue and an upper longitudinal hook tongue. The body further includes an inner longitudinal tongue at the rear and a plurality of holes for mounting eyelets for hanging the leveling instrument, side bubble bottles at the ends of the body, and a central horizontal bubble bottle. The body has a bottom wider than its top and has a longitudinally rearward convex shape. A number of plastic claddings are attached to the front of the masonry leveler. An end cap is attached to an end of the body structure. The masonry leveling instrument can also be used as a construction tool to flatten uncured concrete and slurry surfaces.
