Embracing type electromagnetic energy harvester for bridge stay cable damper
The invention discloses an embracing type electromagnetic energy harvester for a damper, belongs to the field of vibration energy harvesting, and aims to convert damper movement caused by wind-induced bridge/stay cable vibration into available electric energy. The device comprises a damper fixing clamp, a pressing rod assembly, a transmission shaft, a linear bearing, a ball screw, a gear, a coupler, a permanent magnet generator and the like. According to the working principle of the device, when environmental wind and the bridge/stay cable generate a fluid-solid coupling effect, the piston rod of the damper and the hydraulic cylinder generate relative motion so as to reduce the wind-induced vibration amplitude of the bridge/stay cable, and the relative motion of the piston rod and the hydraulic cylinder serves as external excitation; the permanent magnet generator is driven through all stages of transmission mechanisms in a rotation speed ratio increasing mode, and wind-induced vibration energy is converted into electric energy. The device has the advantages of being convenient to mount and dismount and free of interference on work of an existing damper, and can be widely applied to bridge/stay cable dampers in windy scenes such as canyons and mountains for energy harvesting power generation.
