The invention discloses a mounting device and a mounting method of a steel grid structure, the mounting device of the steel grid structure comprises a support frame, the support frame comprises a tail part and a head part, the head part is welded at one end of the tail part, the head part is integrally inclined and upwards extends relative to the tail part, and an included angle alpha between the top surface of the head part and the top surface of the tail part is an obtuse angle; the lifting device comprises a winch, a traction rope and a pulley, the winch is fixed to the tail, one end of the traction rope is wound and connected to the winch, and the other end of the traction rope droops around the pulley and is suitable for being connected with a subsequent net rack unit. The vertical height of the joint of the head part and the tail part can be reduced, but the loading capacity of the supporting frame is not reduced under the condition that the material strength and the specification are not increased. In addition, the stability and the use safety of the mounting device can be improved. And moreover, the requirement on a construction site can be reduced, the leasing expense of the hoisting equipment can be saved, and the safety risk caused by the position adjustment of the hoisting equipment can be reduced.
