The invention discloses a construction method for installing a waterproof sleeve on an old wallboard structure. The construction method comprises the following steps that a to-be-constructed area is selected in the wallboard structure; chiseling away the to-be-constructed area so as to reserve a waterproof sleeve mounting space, and retaining wallboard structural steel bars; a waterproof sleeve is arranged on the peripheral side of the pipeline in a sleeving mode and installed in the installation space; a first mounting plate is mounted on the downstream face, the first mounting plate is flush with the flange ring, located on the downstream face, of the waterproof sleeve, the first mounting plate is connected with the waterproof sleeve, and a first concrete pouring space is defined by the first mounting plate and the wallboard structure; concrete is poured into the first concrete pouring space to form a first filling structure, and a second mounting plate is mounted on the upstream face and the side, close to the upstream face, of the first filling structure after a first preset time interval; formwork erecting and concrete pouring are conducted at the first preset position of the upstream face, a second filling structure is formed, and the side, away from the upstream face, of the second filling structure is flush with the flange bottom, located on the upstream face, of the waterproof sleeve; an additional waterproof layer and a waterproof protection layer are additionally arranged outside the second filling structure, and reliable engineering quality is ensured.
