The invention relates to an anti-cracking construction method for a large-area ALC wallboard base layer decorative surface, which comprises the following steps of: 1, cleaning an ALC wallboard base layer, removing burrs and impurities of the base layer, cleaning welding seam welding slag and the like, and ensuring that the base layer is clean; the method comprises the following steps: 1, preparing ALC wallboards, 2, brushing an adhesion agent at a joint between the ALC wallboards and a galvanized steel pipe keel and at a joint between the ALC wallboards, 3, brushing PVAC latex on the solidified adhesion agent, pressing a confirm cloth tape in the adhesion agent, and then striking off the adhesion agent, 4, wiping a base layer with light gypsum mortar and striking off the base layer, and 5, calendaring a light gypsum cover with the thickness of 3 mm. Sixthly, water-resistant putty is fully scraped twice; seventhly, one primer is sealed; 8, finishing coat is conducted two times; the method is suitable for construction of the oversized-area ALC wallboard and construction between the oversized-area ALC wallboard and different base layers, and the cracking condition of different base layer wall bodies and surface layer decoration is effectively prevented.
