The invention discloses a construction method of a natural stone powder veneer. The construction method comprises the steps that a base layer is divided into a plurality of construction sections; base slurry is provided, a mechanical slurry spraying machine is used for spraying the base slurry to the construction section segment by segment, alkali-resistant gridding cloth is laid to form a bottom material layer, the base slurry comprises aggregate and water, and the mass ratio of the aggregate to the water is 1: 0.24; stirring the natural stone powder coating for 8 minutes, standing for 10 minutes, and then stirring for 7 minutes; spraying the stirred natural stone powder coating on the backing material layer, and paving alkali-resistant gridding cloth to form a first base layer; spraying the natural stone powder coating on the first base layer and paving alkali-resistant gridding cloth to form a second base layer; polishing the second base layer; and performing blade coating of stone powder on the polished second base layer to form a stone powder surface layer. The problem that a conventional natural stone powder coating wall surface is prone to cracking is solved.
