LOW FRICTION SLIDING SYSTEM
The invention relates to a sliding system (1) comprising: a first sliding member (10) having a sliding surface (14) at least partially coated with a lipophilic composition coating (18) to provide a sliding layer (19) with reduced friction; and a second sliding member (20) arranged in sliding contact with the sliding layer (19) at the junction to provide the sliding system (1). A joint portion between the sliding layer (19) and the second sliding member (20) forms a sliding support portion to allow sliding movement of the second sliding member (20) with respect to the first sliding member (10). At least the sliding surface (14) of the first sliding component (10) is made of a first plastic, and at least a portion of the second sliding component (20) in sliding contact with the sliding layer (19) is made of a second plastic. The first plastic and the second plastic are different plastics. The invention also relates to a method for providing said sliding system (1).
