The invention relates to an actuator (1) having a housing (3, 4, 5) with a housing body (4) and at least one housing cover (5), the housing parts (4, 5) being connectable together by means of laser welding via a contact region (17); a first sealed space (14) in which the drive unit (18) is arranged; the housing (3) has at least one first sealed space (14) and at least one second sealed space (15), the sealed spaces (14, 15) can be separated by means of weldable connecting webs (16) in the interior of the housing (3), and the channels (26) between the spaces (14, 15) can be sealed by means of seals in the connecting webs (16), and different sealing levels can be formed in the sealed spaces (14, 15).
