The invention relates to a glass curtain wall system used at an ultrahigh suspended ceiling position. The glass curtain wall system comprises a mounting framework erected on a structural beam at a corresponding position of a building; the connecting keels are arranged at the bottom of the mounting framework and are arranged at intervals in the transverse direction and the longitudinal direction; the rails are transversely or longitudinally arranged at the bottom of the mounting framework at intervals, connecting keels are arranged on the two sides of each rail, and the rails are connected with the connecting keels on the two sides; the glass curtain wall plate is laid at the bottom of the mounting framework, and the auxiliary frame of the glass curtain wall plate is connected with the corresponding connecting keel; a thermal insulation layer is arranged at the side part of the glass curtain wall plate at the rail; the outer side of the heat preservation layer is covered with a waterproof glue layer. The glass curtain wall plate can be installed by means of the installation framework serving as a construction working face, erection of a scaffold is omitted, the window cleaning machine can be conveniently arranged in a sliding mode through the arranged rails, and maintenance in the using process is convenient.
