The invention particularly relates to mica flower porcelain and a preparation method thereof. The blank material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 9 to 15 parts of Yulan tea spar, 10 to 13 parts of biotite, 20 to 30 parts of quartz, 16 to 26 parts of Datong soil, 15 to 28 parts of 325-mesh Longyan soil, 2 to 8 parts of Tang county soil, 2 to 4 parts of Al2O3, 1 to 3 parts of bone carbon, 0.3 to 1 part of raw talc and 1 to 3 parts of montmorillonite; the glaze is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 45 to 55 parts of Yulan tea spar, 16 to 23 parts of quartz, 0.5 to 1.5 parts of Suzhou soil, 1.5 to 3.8 parts of small white dry, 8 to 16 parts of calcite, 2 to 6 parts of ZnO, 1 to 3 parts of Datong soil, 0.5 to 4 parts of cooked Datong soil and 4 to 8 parts of BaCO3; the flower porcelain with the natural small black flower spots is prepared by mainly utilizing black mica extracted from waste materials after antibacterial ceramic production, so that the cost is effectively reduced.
