The invention provides a bridge cable intelligent protection device which comprises a protection shell, a dust removal mechanism, an anti-icing mechanism, a fireproof mechanism and a control unit, the protection shell is connected with the head and the tail of a cable through a connecting plate, a guide rail is arranged at the bottom of the protection shell, the dust removal mechanism is arranged on the guide rail, supporting rods are arranged at the two ends of the lower portion of the cable, and the control unit is arranged on the supporting rods. The fireproof mechanism is arranged on the supporting rod, an infrared camera and a first temperature sensor are arranged at one end of the supporting rod, a second temperature sensor is arranged on the cable, a dust sensor is arranged on the protective shell, and the icing mechanism is arranged at the bottom of the cable. The control unit is electrically connected with the dust removal mechanism, the anti-icing mechanism and the fireproof mechanism, the protection device has multiple protection functions, meanwhile, the protection device does not need to change the structure of an original cable, the adaptability is high, and the application prospect is wide.
