The invention discloses a device and a method for detecting the penetration of a hammered pile, and relates to the field of engineering machinery. The detection device comprises a camera set, a penetration detection control terminal and reflective stripes used for being attached to a pile body. The camera set comprises two cameras, one camera is a common camera and used for monitoring whether the pile hammer makes contact with the pile body or not and providing a hammering signal, and the other camera is a high-speed motion camera and used for detecting displacement changes of pile body reflective stripes at a certain height. The camera is connected with the terminal and controlled by the terminal, and transmits collected data to the terminal. And the terminal obtains the penetration through data processing and displays the penetration in real time. A non-contact remote detection method is adopted, manual detection errors can be avoided, the problem that a displacement sensor is inconvenient to install is solved, and the piling efficiency can be improved.
