The modified asphalt is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 15 to 25 parts of asphalt; 10 to 20 parts of basalt fiber; 4-8 parts of hollow alumina-zirconia fiber; 20 to 30 parts of fly ash; 30-40 parts of iron tailing powder; 25 to 29 parts of water; and 6-10 parts of a silane coupling agent. By adding the silane coupling agent, the dispersity of the fiber in the asphalt can be improved, the bonding strength of the fiber and the asphalt is improved, and the improvement of the mechanical property of the asphalt concrete is further influenced; by adding the fiber material, the fiber material has the effects of bridging, reinforcement, grid constraint and section enhancement, so that various properties of the asphalt concrete are improved. The concrete prepared by the invention has an excellent application prospect.
