The invention relates to the technical field of ceramic tile preparation, in particular to a full-body tile and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method of the full-body brick comprises the following steps: preparing matrix powder and texture powder; the matrix powder is prepared from the following raw material components in parts by weight: 14 to 18 parts of kaolin, 12 to 17 parts of potassium feldspar, 10 to 15 parts of albite, 25 to 30 parts of quartz sand, 3 to 7 parts of talc, 5 to 7 parts of bentonite, 15 to 20 parts of dry granules and 5 to 10 parts of barium carbonate; material distribution, wherein the matrix powder and the texture powder are adopted during material distribution; and carrying out compression molding, drying and sintering to obtain the full-body brick. The full-body brick prepared by the preparation method is smooth and flat in surface and high in hardness, and full-body bricks with different textures can be formed according to design requirements.
