The invention provides a composite hinge, an opening and closing piece and a design method of the composite hinge, and the composite hinge comprises two main linking pieces and two auxiliary linking pieces, the main linking piece is provided with a first pivot joint circular ring, a second pivot joint circular ring, a third pivot joint circular ring, a first connecting part and a second connecting part; the first pivot joint circular ring and the second pivot joint circular ring are mutually connected through the first connecting part; the second pivot joint circular ring and the third pivot joint circular ring are mutually connected through the second connecting part; the auxiliary linking piece is provided with a fourth pivoting circular ring, a fifth pivoting circular ring and a third connecting part for mutually connecting the fourth pivoting circular ring and the fifth pivoting circular ring; and the second pivoting circular rings of the two main linking pieces are pivoted together through a hinge shaft. When the composite hinge is used on a parking apron of an aircraft, the parking apron is almost seamless when unfolded, and safe landing of the aircraft is facilitated. When the composite hinge is used between a door plate and a door frame, the situation that fingers of a human body are pinched by the door plate and the door frame is avoided.
