The invention relates to a calculation method for ocean engineering foundation structure-soil interaction damping. The calculation method comprises the following steps that a soil unit damping ratio-cyclic shear strain curve is obtained; establishing a finite element analysis model; constructing a static implicit analysis step; defining interaction and boundary conditions among the models; carrying out grid division and calculation; post-processing and extracting data such as stress and strain; calculating elastic strain energy and dissipated energy; and finally obtaining the damping ratio. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the interaction between the soil body and the structure is truly simulated through the finite element analysis model, the actual soil layer characteristics, the fine mesh and the contact model, the characteristics of different soil body materials are considered, and the proper constitutive model is adopted, so that the calculation accuracy is improved; and an effective tool for optimizing the structural design and improving the safety and the economical efficiency is provided for engineers.
