The invention provides a high-performance polycarboxylate superplasticizer and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of preparation of polycarboxylate superplasticizers, the polycarboxylate superplasticizer comprises 80-90 parts of a viscosity-reducing polycarboxylate superplasticizer, 10-15 parts of modified microcrystalline cellulose, 0.1-0.3 part of an antifoaming agent, and 0.1-0.3 part of an air entraining agent; the viscosity-reducing polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 50 to 80 parts of methyl allyl polyoxyethylene ether, 20 to 50 parts of acrylic acid, 5 to 10 parts of 2-acrylamide-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid, 7 to 10 parts of vinyl trimethoxy silane, 1 to 3 parts of sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate, 1 to 3 parts of ammonium persulfate and 0.1 to 1 part of alpha-methyl styrene dimer. The viscosity-reducing polycarboxylic acid water reducer and the modified microcrystalline cellulose are compounded for use, so that the initial dispersion performance and dispersion retention performance of the polycarboxylic acid water reducer are further improved, and meanwhile, the viscosity-reducing capacity, the water-reducing rate and the mechanical property of the water reducer are also improved.
