The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to a universal monolithic ballast bed ditch center formwork and a construction method thereof.The universal monolithic ballast bed ditch center formwork comprises a hoisting device, a supporting device and a drainage ditch formwork, the drainage ditch formwork is connected with the hoisting device through the supporting device, the hoisting device comprises a cross beam, and the two ends of the cross beam are matched with the rail bottom of a steel rail in shape; a rectangular through hole is formed in the bottom of the cross beam, and a plurality of strip-shaped grooves are formed in the edge of one side or two sides of the rectangular through hole; the supporting device comprises an upper supporting leg and a lower supporting leg, the upper supporting leg and the lower supporting leg are both in an L shape, a plurality of pin holes are formed in the two side faces of the upper supporting leg and the lower supporting leg, pin rods are inserted into the pin holes to connect the upper supporting leg and the lower supporting leg, the lower supporting leg is connected with a drainage ditch formwork, and the top of the upper supporting leg is connected with a positioning gasket. The device has the advantages that the cross beam can be correspondingly adjusted according to the width of the drainage ditch template, and is suitable for hoisting different types of drainage ditch templates; the positioning gasket is used for accurately positioning the width of the drainage ditch formwork and limiting movement of the supporting device in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction.
