The system comprises a picture acquisition device used for acquiring image data of a foundation pit to be monitored; the soil detection equipment is used for detecting the soil state of the to-be-monitored foundation pit to obtain soil detection data, and the soil detection data is used for representing soil characteristic data in a preset range of the to-be-monitored foundation pit; the data measuring equipment is used for measuring three-dimensional data of the foundation pit to be monitored, and the three-dimensional data is used for representing size information of the foundation pit to be monitored; and the data management equipment is connected with the image acquisition equipment, the soil detection equipment and the data measurement equipment, and is used for monitoring the to-be-monitored foundation pit based on the image data, the soil detection data and the three-dimensional data to obtain a monitoring result, and the monitoring result is used for indicating whether the to-be-monitored foundation pit is in a normal state or not. According to the invention, the technical problem of low monitoring efficiency of the foundation pit in the prior art is solved.
