According to the riverway sludge cleaning device for the water conservancy project, by arranging the reciprocating dredging assembly and utilizing front-back reciprocating movement of a dredging rod, dredging and tiling of sludge are achieved, in cooperation with dilution of water, the sludge is filtered into a sludge receiving box, stone blocks and garbage in the sludge are left in the sludge receiving box, screening of the stone blocks and the garbage in the sludge is achieved, and the screening efficiency is improved.
