The invention discloses a supporting tool for a concrete formwork and a supporting method.The supporting tool comprises a vertically-arranged supporting frame and a back supporting assembly, one end of the back supporting assembly is supported to the ground, the other end of the back supporting assembly is connected to the back face of the supporting frame, and the supporting frame comprises a vertically-arranged first U-shaped steel channel and a second U-shaped steel channel, the back supporting assembly is connected to the back face of the first U-shaped steel channel. The multiple pairs of first transverse plates are evenly arranged in the length direction of the first U-shaped steel channel at intervals, and each pair of first transverse plates are the same in height and connected to the opposite outer sides of two flange plates of the first U-shaped steel channel correspondingly; each first transverse plate extends out of a flange plate of the first U-shaped steel channel towards the front face of the first U-shaped steel channel and forms an extending section, and a space for containing and installing a concrete formwork is formed between the extending sections of every two pairs of transverse plates which are adjacent up and down. And the connecting assembly is used for connecting the concrete formwork to the supporting frame. By arranging the supporting tool, the construction efficiency is improved.
