The invention relates to the technical field of curtain wall installation, and discloses an installation device for installing an aluminum square tube curtain wall and an installation method thereof.The installation device comprises a working box body, a rotating mechanism used for direction adjustment is installed in an inner cavity of the working box body, the rotating mechanism comprises a first installation base, and a first motor is fixedly connected into an inner cavity of the first installation base; one side of an output shaft of the first motor is fixedly connected with a rotating rod, and the first motor provides driving force for direction adjustment; a fixing mechanism for fixing the device is mounted on one side of the working box body; and a lifting mechanism for height adjustment is mounted at the top of the rotating mechanism.
