The invention relates to sea area deep hole static sounding test equipment and a test method thereof, and the equipment comprises a static sounding test platform which is positioned above the water surface of a static sounding test hole site; the lead hole coring drilling machine comprises a drilling machine body located on the static sounding test platform, the drilling machine body is connected with multiple sections of double-layer sleeves which are sequentially lengthened, and the bottom of the first section of double-layer sleeve is connected with a coring bit; and the static sounding equipment comprises a hydraulic loading system located on the static sounding test platform, and the hydraulic loading system is connected with a probe rod assembly which extends into the double-layer sleeve and carries out static sounding on the static sounding test hole site. When the hole guiding coring drilling machine needs to help static sounding equipment to conduct hole guiding operation, the double-layer sleeve does not need to be pulled out, and the double-layer sleeve directly serves as a drill rod to conduct drilling on the stratum. The problem that in the prior art, multiple sleeves need to be pulled out when the multiple sleeves are repeatedly added or detached and a guide hole needs to be drilled when static sounding reaches the penetration limit is solved.
