The invention provides an elevator shaft construction device and method, and belongs to the field of elevator shaft construction.The elevator shaft construction device comprises a climbing assembly which moves between an upper floor slab and a lower floor slab of an elevator shaft in the vertical direction of the ground and can be fixed to one floor slab; the supporting frame is erected on the climbing assembly and synchronously moves along with the climbing assembly; the outer formwork is arranged between the upper floor slab and the lower floor slab and surrounds the supporting frame. The inner formworks are arranged on the supporting frame and arranged around the inner contour of the outer formwork at intervals, and a pouring space is formed between the inner formworks and the outer formwork. The suspension mechanism is fixedly arranged at the top of the supporting frame and lifts the inner formwork to enable the inner formwork to be located above the climbing assembly. The wall mold is formed by hinging a plurality of mold plate strips, so that the inner mold plate is divided into a plurality of parts to be separated in sequence instead of demolding the whole inner mold plate, the demolding difficulty of the inner mold plate is reduced, and the inner mold plate can be defined by the wall molds and the corner molds through the telescopic mechanisms and the connecting seats; and meanwhile, the construction system drives the inner formwork to move step by step from bottom to top through the climbing assembly.
