The invention relates to a concrete admixture and a preparation method thereof. The concrete admixture is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 35-55 parts of fly ash, 10-25 parts of silica fume, 15-30 parts of granulated blast furnace slag, 5-10 parts of volcanic ash, 2-8 parts of a grinding aid, 1-3 parts of a dispersant, 2-5 parts of a modifier and 70-120 parts of water.
