The embodiment of the invention provides a multidirectional water delivery system and a water delivery method applying the multidirectional water delivery system, and belongs to the technical field of water conservancy and hydropower water delivery. The multidirectional water delivery system comprises a cavity, a check gate, a mesopore down-the-hole gate and a water delivery pipeline opening and is used for water delivery dispatching among a natural river channel, a water delivery pipeline and a storage pond, the storage pond is communicated with the natural river channel through a communication gate, and the multidirectional water delivery system is configured in the mode that the cavity is formed in the middle of the natural river channel; the check gate is arranged between the cavity and the river bank of the natural river channel so as to separate upstream and downstream water flows; upstream and downstream water flow communication is realized by opening the check gate; the water conveying pipeline opening is formed in the bottom of the cavity, and the mesopore down-the-hole gate is arranged on the cavity and can lead water flow of the water conveying pipeline into a natural river channel through the cavity when being opened; the water delivery scheduling among the natural river channel, the water delivery pipeline and the storage pond is realized through the combination of different opening and closing states of the check gate, the mesopore down-the-hole gate and the communication gate.
