The invention discloses a building method of a modular house in the field of house construction, which comprises the following steps of: arranging a vertical positioning assembly on a house module according to a moving route model, arranging a horizontal positioning assembly according to the placing direction of the house module, sequentially hoisting the first floor of house module to a correct position, pushing the house module by an operator, and then hoisting the first floor of house module to the correct position. The house modules can be connected with the adjacent house assemblies through the horizontal positioning assemblies; the house module on the upper layer is hoisted to the floor, and an operator slides the house module according to the moving route model until the house module moves to the position where the house module is connected with the house module below through the vertical positioning assembly and connected with the adjacent house module through the horizontal positioning assembly; the method is used for solving the problems that in the prior art, house modules are manually moved and built, the placement positions or placement directions of the modules are prone to being wrong in the building process, consequently, follow-up hydroelectric systems cannot be normally connected, and normal use of buildings is affected.
