Metal-based functionalized stuffing sand and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to metal-based functionalized stuffing sand and a preparation method thereof, in particular to stuffing sand suitable for steel ladles in the high-temperature refining process. The stuffing sand is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 35 to 50 weight percent of zircon sand, 15 to 25 weight percent of white corundum, 10 to 20 weight percent of high-alumina sand, 3 to 8 weight percent of forsterite, 1 to 3 weight percent of yttrium aluminum garnet, 0.5 to 1 weight percent of phosphorus lanthanum cerium stone, 0.5 to 1 weight percent of tantalum niobium iron ore and 0.1 to 1 weight percent of carbon black. By optimizing the raw material ratio and the preparation process, the ladle filler sand has excellent high temperature resistance, erosion resistance and thermal stability, and can effectively improve the automatic casting rate of a steel ladle after refining treatment such as VD (vacuum degassing) and the like, reduce energy consumption and ensure the quality of molten steel and safe and continuous production of a continuous casting process; the preparation method comprises the steps of raw material pretreatment, accurate proportioning, uniform mixing, granulation, drying, presintering, high-temperature sintering and the like, and high performance and consistency of the product are ensured.
