The invention relates to the technical field of structural engineering and vibration control, in particular to a tower end installed inhaul cable vibration reduction system which comprises a damper, a supporting rod and a connecting rod. The top end of the connecting rod is connected with the middle of the inhaul cable, the other end of the connecting rod is movably connected with the top end of the damper, and the bottom end of the damper is fixed to the tower through a bearing. The middle of the connecting rod is connected with the bottom end of the supporting rod; the top end of the supporting rod is fixed on the tower; the connecting position of the supporting rod and the tower is higher than the connecting position of the damper and the tower; when the inhaul cable vibrates in the vertical direction perpendicular to the cable chord line, the connecting rod allows the damper to be pushed to deform along the axis of the connecting rod, and energy consumption is reduced. When the inhaul cable vibrates in the horizontal direction perpendicular to the cable chord line, the connecting rod is allowed to rotate around the position where the connecting rod is connected with the supporting rod, and the damper is pushed to dissipate energy and reduce vibration.
