The invention discloses an underwater sinking pipe sinking construction method which comprises the following steps: pipeline prefabrication: each river-crossing pipeline is divided into two pipe sections to be prefabricated ashore, and blind plates are respectively arranged at the two ends of each pipe section for sealing; a pipeline is set underwater, and the foundation trench is excavated according to the designed section; the two pipe sections of each river-crossing pipeline are in butt joint on the water surface; pipe sinking: sinking the river-crossing pipelines to design positions in the foundation trench one by one; pipeline treatment: performing a pipeline hydrostatic test, flushing and disinfecting; and backfilling: backfilling the foundation trench according to the designed section. The river-crossing pipeline is divided into two sections to be prefabricated on the shore, and then the two sections are discharged and welded to form the whole pipeline, so that hoisting and discharging are easy.
