A food waste disposer, particularly a food waste disposer for mounting under a sink, may include a fitting assembly having a baffle. Each baffle of the present technology may include an outer rim, a plurality of flaps attached to and extending radially inward from the outer rim by a hinge. Each baffle may have an anti-reverse stop that is intended to resist upward movement of the baffle during operation to prevent food waste from being poured back into the sink from the processor.
