The invention discloses a damping device for a bridge floor and a bridge pier of a suspension bridge, which belongs to the technical field of suspension bridges and comprises a bridge floor, a bridge pier, a fixing block, a first torsion spring, a buffer strip and a pushing block. When vibration is transmitted to a bridge floor, a fixing block compresses a first spring damper to move, and when the vibration is increased and the moving degree of the fixing block is increased, sliding friction is generated between a buffer strip and the side wall of a fixing groove, so that the effect of energy consumption again is achieved; when first-time energy consumption occurs, the buffer strips can abut against the fixing grooves in time, and second-stage energy consumption of friction force is achieved; before vibration is transmitted to the bridge pier, the first spring dampers and the buffer strips are used for consuming energy generated when the bridge deck bears vibration loads, the vibration of the bridge deck is prevented from being transmitted to the bridge pier in time, and periodic displacement loading positions are prevented from being generated on the bridge pier; therefore, fatigue damage of materials of the bridge pier is avoided, and the strength and long-term stability of the bridge deck are kept.
