The airport runway pavement cleaning robot comprises a machine body, walking mechanisms and a cleaning assembly, the walking mechanisms are arranged at the bottoms of the front end and the rear end of the machine body, and the cleaning assembly is arranged at the bottom of the machine body and comprises an electric telescopic rod arranged in the machine body and a sliding block arranged at the bottom end of the electric telescopic rod; and the sweeping wheel is arranged between the two sliding blocks. According to the airport runway pavement cleaning robot, through the electric telescopic rod arranged in the robot body, the cleaning wheel at the bottom of the robot body can be driven to abut against the ground, the driving assembly is used for driving the cleaning wheel to rotate, foreign matter on a runway is stored in the collecting box, meanwhile, the robot can be conveniently retracted into the robot body when not used, and damage to the cleaning wheel is reduced; and when the runway surface is cleaned, the runway surface which is difficult to clean and easy to clean can be conveniently switched and used according to two different application situations through the scraping plate and the bristle rod arranged on the surface of the cleaning wheel.
