The invention discloses a clamping assembled decorative wall and a mounting method. The decorative wall assembled in a clamped mode comprises a wall framework, a plurality of decorative plates and a plurality of long-strip-shaped clamping pieces, the wall framework comprises a plurality of bottom groove keels, and the long-strip-shaped clamping pieces and the bottom groove keels are arranged in a one-to-one correspondence mode; each bottom groove keel comprises a bottom plate and two side plates, and the bottom plate is provided with a clamping groove sunken towards the interior of the mounting groove; the clamping plate is arranged to be buckled with the mounting groove so as to limit the long-strip-shaped clamping piece relative to the bottom groove keel in the first direction and the second direction. The two supporting plates are arranged on the side, away from the clamping plate, of the web in the first direction and arranged in the second direction in a spaced mode and used for abutting against the decorative plate. The invention relates to a building partition wall technology, and provides a decorative wall body assembled in a clamping manner and an installation method, so that excessive nailing operation is avoided, the installation efficiency is improved, and the hollowing feeling after a decorative plate is installed is reduced.
