Comprising a cart used for running on an asphalt layer pavement; the driving assembly is installed in the cart and used for converting power generated when the cart runs into swinging force acting on the two ends of the bottom of the cart; the measuring assembly is mounted in the driving assembly and is used for measuring the thickness of the asphalt layer pavement in a laser manner; the control terminal is installed on the surface of the cart, electrically connected with the measuring assembly and used for displaying the numerical value measured by the measuring assembly. According to the asphalt thickness measuring device, the driving power of the cart is converted into the swinging force acting on the two ends of the bottom of the cart, so that the measuring assembly arranged at the bottom of the cart can uniformly collect the asphalt thickness of different sections in the moving track of the cart, and the measuring accuracy and efficiency are improved.
