The invention belongs to the technical field of bridge engineering construction, and provides a large-span simply-supported steel truss bridge structure based on sliding web members and a construction method of the large-span simply-supported steel truss bridge structure. The truss upper mechanism comprises an upper chord member and web members arranged at the two ends of the upper chord member through hinge pieces, and a pulley is arranged at the end, away from the upper chord member, of each web member. The truss lower mechanism comprises a lower chord member and a sliding groove which is formed in the lower chord member and matched with the pulley. Nodes between the upper chord members and the web members are determined in advance in a hinged mode, after the truss upper mechanism and the truss lower mechanism are hoisted, the pulleys on the web members can be placed in the sliding grooves matched with the pulleys in a sliding mode, and through sliding of the pulleys in the sliding grooves, the web members can be fixed. The splicing position of the node between the lower chord member and the web member can be quickly and accurately determined, the operation difficulty is reduced, and the splicing precision of the node between the chord member and the web member is improved.
