The invention provides a telescopic assembly type underground diaphragm wall which comprises a recycling part and a built-in part which are arranged in the depth direction of a groove, and the built-in part is located below the recycling part and connected with the recycling part in an inserted mode. The recovery part is at least provided with two wall sections which are detachably connected along the depth direction of the groove; each wall segment comprises a segment main body, a pressure-bearing panel, a telescopic shaft and a motor; the pressure-bearing panels are arranged on the two sides, close to a soil body, of the segment main body, the pressure-bearing panels are connected with the motor through the telescopic shafts, the motor drives the telescopic shafts to stretch out and draw back in the width direction of a groove, and the telescopic shafts drive the width positions where the pressure-bearing panels are located to change. The problem of instability of the underground diaphragm wall during supporting can be solved, and the cyclic utilization benefit of the wall segments can be improved. The invention further provides a construction method of the telescopic fabricated underground diaphragm wall.
