The method is simple in step and convenient to operate, a large number of high-quality lead metaniobate seed crystals can be prepared within a short time, and the production efficiency is improved. The invention also discloses a lead metaniobate seed crystal, and the lead metaniobate seed crystal is used as a key raw material for preparing the lead metaniobate textured ceramic, so that the performance and the stability of the ceramic are remarkably improved. The invention also discloses application of the lead metaniobate seed crystal to preparation of lead metaniobate textured ceramic, the Curie temperature of the lead metaniobate textured ceramic is 487-512 DEG C, and the lead metaniobate textured ceramic has excellent high temperature resistance.
