The invention discloses a hinged bridge and a construction method, and relates to the technical field of bridge construction.The construction method comprises the following steps that pre-embedded steel bars are arranged at the top of a cover beam; the lower ends of the embedded steel bars are anchored in the cover beam, and the upper ends are exposed out of the top of the cover beam; the upper end of the embedded steel bar is sleeved with a connecting sleeve; the two prefabricated box girders are erected on the two opposite sides of the top of the cover beam correspondingly, and a reserved pouring area is formed between the two opposite ends of the two prefabricated box girders; the connecting sleeve is located in the reserved pouring area; concrete is poured into the reserved pouring area to form a post-pouring end cross beam, and the post-pouring end cross beam is fixedly connected with the connecting sleeve; and the post-cast end cross beam and the two prefabricated box girders form a bridge deck structure. According to the technical scheme, a hinge structure is formed between the bridge deck structure and the cover beam, construction is convenient, the manufacturing cost is low, maintenance is convenient, bending moment is released while horizontal displacement of the bridge deck structure is effectively limited, and the structural stability, safety and durability of a bridge are improved.
