The invention relates to the technical field of constructional engineering, in particular to an embedded module building system design method which comprises the steps that a target building is divided into an embedded module area and a non-embedded module area according to a building scheme of the target building; splitting the embedded module into at least one embedded sub-module according to the building arrangement and building functions of the embedded module; according to a module performance target and a hoisting transportation design requirement, carrying out structural design on the embedded sub-module, and then carrying out hoisting and transportation process checking calculation on the embedded sub-module; and finally, determining a construction scheme of the target building according to the splitting scheme and the on-site hoisting and mounting mode. Compared with the prior art, the design method has the advantages that performance control of the embedded module building system in production and construction stages is considered while the embedded sub-modules are independently designed, module integrated design and performance design are realized, and flexibility and customization options are provided for the embedded module building system.
